Bunga Dashamma, a native of Khapraipally village in Atmakur (M) mandal, received her PhD degree at the 85th convocation ceremony held at Osmania University in Hyderabad.
She received the degree from the hands of Telangana Governor and Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Bharat Biotech founder Dr. Krishna Ella, along with the university's Vice-Chancellor and Registrar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dashamma stated that obtaining her PhD from the Department of History under the supervision of Professor B. Lavanya brought her immense happiness. She expressed special gratitude to her late parents Bunga Venkaiah and Manemma, her husband Akula Shyamsundar, other family members, and the faculty who supported her in this achievement.
