Do not wish evil upon others! A pond never gets polluted just because someone throws a stone into it. The disturbance lasts only for a short while; soon, the water settles and regains its pristine clarity. Similarly, do not harbor malice in your heart just because someone did you wrong. Do not sacrifice your peace of mind for a stone they threw.
Do not change your goodness because of those who hurt you. Let not revenge for their mistakes become the guiding path of your life. Time will eventually give everyone the fitting result of their karma; you just keep moving forward silently on your path.
A stone falls into the pond, waves rise for a while, but ultimately the water becomes peaceful, and the stone remains at the bottom. Likewise, a person who does evil will experience the consequence of their own bad deeds. If you stand firm with your goodness, your own mind will become your mirror.
True greatness does not lie in seeking revenge, but in forgiving and stepping aside. Protect your peace of mind and never let go of your goodness.
