Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 18: State Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has handed over a Rs 1 crore accident insurance check to the family of TG Transco employee Mohammed Mujahid, who died untimely in a road accident while returning home after duty.
The compensation was handed over by the Deputy CM on behalf of the State Bank of India to the mother (nominee) of the deceased in his chamber at the Assembly. Mohammed Mujahid (26), working as a Junior Lineman at the 132 KV substation in Kothur, Ranga Reddy district, lost his life in a road accident on November 5, 2025, while returning home on his bike after finishing his night shift.
As part of the accident insurance scheme provided under the SBI salary package for state government and TG Transco employees, the victim's family members applied for the claim in February 2026. Officials expedited the departmental process and ensured that the Rs 1 crore compensation was credited in a timely manner to the deceased mother's account on August 20.
