Speaking on this occasion, RIO Sharada (reported by Raja Pentapati, AP Bureau Chief, Amaravati, September 5, Trinet AP) stated that organizing special cultural festivals for women is a commendable initiative. She noted that girls and women possess various talents and platforms like 'Taruni Tarangini' will be useful to showcase them. She expressed hope that college students and women will participate in large numbers in these cultural events and utilize such platforms.
Event organizer P. Tulasi said that the tagline for this women's festival is 'Taruni Tarangini: Celebrating Her Power, Grace & Glory'. She explained that this tagline does not merely mean praising women, but encompasses a broader meaning of recognizing their strength, respecting their personality, and celebrating their achievements.
She announced that the Dasara women's cultural festival will be held on October 4 at the Arts College under the theme, "We are modern women, we are Navadurgas, the nine powers reside within us." She urged girls and women to participate in large numbers and make the event a grand success.
