* Revanth Reddy's government aims for public welfare: Amarnath Goud
Tarnaka, Trinet News, September 5: As per the directives of TPCC, DCC leaders, Secunderabad In-charge, and contested MLA Adam Santosh Kumar, Congress party leaders and workers grandly celebrated the completion of 1,000 days of Congress governance in Lalapet. The event, held under the leadership of TPCC Secretary Amarnath Goud, saw enthusiastic participation from party ranks. They burst firecrackers, cut a cake, exchanged greetings, and distributed sweets to the public.
Speaking on the occasion, Amarnath Goud stated that ever since coming to power, the Congress government has prioritized the welfare of the poor and weaker sections by implementing numerous programs. He noted that the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is moving forward with public welfare as its primary objective. Along with fulfilling election promises one by one, the government is also undertaking additional welfare programs that were not explicitly mentioned in the manifesto.
Amarnath Goud accused BRS leaders of criticizing the 1,000-day milestone of the Congress government merely to divert public attention from the debts and flawed decisions of the previous BRS regime. He made it clear that their criticisms would be answered not with words, but through the implementation of welfare schemes and development works. He added that public trust in Congress rule is growing stronger.
The event was attended by Congress leaders and workers including Anirudh, Shekhar, Baba Ashok, Raju, Prasad, Shiva Sudhakar, Shailender, and Anwar, among others.
