Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 21: Telangana politics have turned intense once again. The ruling Congress party is sharpening new strategies to push the opposition BRS onto the defensive. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to sound the battle horn himself, targeting constituencies that have been unassailable strongholds for the pink party. As part of this strategy, a schedule has reportedly been finalized to hold a massive Congress public meeting in Sircilla on the 30th of this month.
Recently, during a meeting in Nakerakal, Nalgonda district, CM Revanth Reddy had openly challenged that he would visit Sircilla by the end of September and Siddipet in October. In accordance with his call, the Congress leadership is reportedly organizing the Sircilla meeting for the 30th of this month. With BRS chief KCR staying away from the public domain for a long time, CM Revanth Reddy has been launching scathing attacks on top BRS leaders KTR and Harish Rao. He has challenged that the Congress flag will definitely be hoisted in the upcoming elections in Sircilla, represented by KTR, and Siddipet, represented by Harish Rao.
In this backdrop, the CM threw down the gauntlet at the Nakerakal meeting, vowing to visit Sircilla by the end of the month and subsequently wage a political offensive on Siddipet. With strategy centered on upcoming political targets, CM Revanth Reddy is heating up the political landscape with sharp rhetoric, declaring that as long as he is around, the BRS party will never sprout again in Telangana.
