Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 06: BRS leader Shravan Kumar from the Mallapur division of the Uppal constituency slammed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that it is inappropriate for him to make derogatory comments against former Chief Minister and BRS supremo KCR, as well as party working president KTR.
Speaking at a media conference, Shravan Kumar expressed anger over CM Revanth Reddy's demand for KCR's resignation. "Should KCR resign for building the Yadadri temple, constructing the Kaleshwaram project, or implementing initiatives like Basti Dawakhanas and Aarogyasri?" he questioned. He noted that the credit for providing welfare schemes to the elderly, differently-abled, single women, toddy tappers, and other sections goes entirely to the KCR government.
He demanded that Revanth Reddy explain to the people what has been implemented so far out of the six guarantees announced by the Congress government. Alleging that the government has failed in its governance, he stated that the Chief Minister, cabinet members, MLAs, and MPs are in a situation where they should resign from their posts.
Shravan Kumar also faulted the CM's remarks regarding KCR's 'farmhouse governance', stating it is improper to criticize KCR without knowing what he is actually doing. He warned Revanth Reddy to keep his tongue in check while speaking about KCR and KTR. He cautioned that if the inappropriate remarks against KCR and KTR continue, BRS cadres from the Uppal constituency will mobilize in large numbers to stage protests. Shravan Kumar warned that BRS family members from all 16 divisions of the constituency will turn out under the leadership of MLA Bandari Laxma Reddy.
