Banda Padma, a resident of the 35th ward under the Bhongir Municipality in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, received a Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) check for Rs. 22,500/- on Wednesday. The check was handed over to her by Municipal Chairperson Tangallapalli Srivani Ravikumar.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson stated that the state government is giving top priority to the welfare of the poor and weaker sections, and is standing by impoverished families suffering from illness by providing financial assistance through the CMRF. Beneficiary Banda Padma expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Chairperson for the financial aid.
