Chikkadpally, Trinet News August 15: Under the auspices of Nivedita Arts Association and with the support of the Telangana Department of Language and Culture, a grand event blending cinematic, patriotic, and folk songs was organized on the occasion of Independence Day at the Kala Venkata Dikshitulu Kalavedika in Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, Chikkadpally.
Former Telangana Police Housing Corporation Chairman Koleti Damodar Gupta, Adarsha Foundation President Kusuma Bhogaraju, and prominent social activist Vadlakonda Venkatrao attended the event as chief guests and inaugurated it by lighting the traditional lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, they stated that it is highly commendable to render patriotic and inspirational film songs on Independence Day. Prior to the main meeting, a musical concert featuring film songs performed by various singers under the leadership of renowned Navarasa singer Amani enthralled the audience.
