Hyderabad, Trinet News, August 31: State Handicrafts Corporation Chairman Naidu Satyanarayana stated that Adibhatla Narayana Dasu, who elevated the Harikatha art form to great literary heights, was like the Bhishma of that tradition. He spoke as the chief guest at the birth anniversary celebration of Harikatha progenitor Adibhatla Narayana Dasu, held on the Gundavarapu Hanumantha Rao art stage at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha as part of the 'Endaro Mahanubhavulu' event series organized by Gana Sabha.
Naidu Satyanarayana noted that Narayana Dasu was not only a pioneer of the Harikatha art form but also a poet and classical musician. The event was presided over by Gana Sabha President Kala Janardhana Murthy, with prominent Harikatha artists Rambhattar Kakarla Hanumantha Rao, Geeta Devi, and Dr. Jayaramulu in attendance.
