Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for widespread awareness against drugs, stating that addiction destroys not just an individual, but an entire family and society.
Hyderabad, Trinet News, August 30: BJP leaders organized a screening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 137th Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast on Sunday at booth number 7 in the Gandhinagar division, Vivek Nagar Basti, Chikkadpally. BJP Secunderabad Parliamentary Joint Convener A. Vinay Kumar attended as the chief guest, listening to the Prime Minister's address alongside BJP leaders, party workers, and local residents.
Speaking on the key highlights of Mann Ki Baat, Vinay Kumar noted that the nationwide 'Drug-Free India' campaign for youth is gaining momentum. He quoted the Prime Minister as saying, "Addiction destroys not just an individual, but an entire family and society. I appreciate those who create awareness about drugs and help victims." He urged everyone to strive toward achieving a drug-free India. The Prime Minister's address also touched upon several other important topics.
BJP leaders Satyender and Lavanya, along with local residents Suresh Babu, Raju, Arunamma, Sathyamma, Chandrakala, Shiva, Jyothi, Lakshmi, and others participated in the event.
