Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 24: The 86th cine musical concert organized under the auspices of the Mallela Cultural Association concluded grandly on Thursday. The event was organized under the title "Ee Meda Chuttu Gulabeelura... Ee Sigapayala Mandaralura..." to mark the death anniversary of renowned singer and Padma Vibhushan Dr. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam.
The programme was held enthusiastically from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kala Subba Rao Kala Vedika in Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, Chikkadpally. Several singers captivated the audience by rendering melodious cinematic songs originally sung by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam. Speakers recalled his vocal talent and his exceptional contributions to Telugu film music.
Presided over by Mallela Vanandhara, president of the organization and a singer, the event was attended by prominent figures from the art and cultural sectors, as well as music lovers.
