Our conscience tells every person whether an action is right or wrong. Even if the world does not know, the mind knows everything. A mistake committed in the dark may not appear in history, but it remains an indelible stain within our inner self. Doing wrong knowingly is deceiving oneself. While we may mislead others, we can never fool our own mind. A victory won through a lie is never a true victory, and anything acquired by abandoning righteousness will never bring peace of mind. Living by killing one's conscience brings inner agony despite a smiling exterior. True greatness lies in rectifying a mistake the very moment it is recognized. No matter how many times we pray to God, we cannot hide the sin within our heart. Divine grace accompanies us only when righteousness guides our footsteps.
