Venkat Nagam is a remarkable literary figure: Prof. Kolakaluri Enoch

Hyderabad, Trinet News, August 18: Noted writer and former Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University, Padma Shri Prof. Kolakaluri Enoch, described writer Venkat Nagam as a remarkable literary figure who has left a distinct imprint on Telugu literature. On Tuesday, a book launch event for Venkat Nagam's books "Rachabanda Charchalaru" and "Kalagura Gumpa" was jointly organized by Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, Chikkadpally, and the Telangana Department of Language and Culture. The event was presided over by Gana Sabha President Kala V.S. Janardhanamurthy.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kolakaluri Enoch stated that Venkat Nagam has guided society as a true analyst who writes bold and straightforward essays as a writer. He noted that every essay written by Venkat Nagam reflects a deep sense of satisfaction, joy, and dedication. He explained that his uncompromising stance and honesty regarding arts, literature, and societal trends compel readers to think.

Inaugurating the meeting, Telugu Academy Chairman Prof. Koorapati Venkatanarayana praised Venkat Nagam for authoring two unique books, "Bhashanu Abhivruddi Cheyali" (Develop the Language) and "Rakshinchukovali" (Protect It), driven by his profound passion for his mother tongue. He termed it a positive development to bring forth books on various socially useful topics in the mother tongue. Such books, he said, greatly contribute to the development of the Telugu language and the preservation of eroding social values. He emphasized that everyone in society has a responsibility to protect the mother tongue and pass it on to future generations.

Vamsi organization president Dr. Vamsi Ramaraju participated in the event. Author Venkat Nagam shared the ideology behind his books and his writing experiences with the audience. Notably, the author dedicated his book "Kalagura Gumpa" to Prof. Kolakaluri Enoch. Prior to the main meeting, a musical concert by the joint music department and subsequent dance performances by Nippani Venkata Ratnamala greatly captivated the attendees.
