State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Chairperson Justice Radha Rani said that family members staying united till the very end gives a great feeling to elderly parents. She stated that celebrating the birth anniversary of the late Sudhadevi by her husband, along with her sons, daughters-in-law, and their children, would bring peace to her soul.

The 75th birth anniversary of renowned writer Dr. Tenneti Sudhadevi was organized by her family members on the main stage of Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha. On this occasion, Justice Radha Rani, along with former government advisor Dr. K.V. Ramana, presented special awards in memory of Sudhadevi to prominent writer D. Kameswari, eminent mridangam artist Yella Venkateswara Rao, noted dance guru Voleti Rangamani, and veteran theater artist Surbhi Venugopala Rao.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ramana said that these awards recognize the lifelong contributions of D. Kameswari (aged over 90), Yella Venkateswara Rao (over 80), Rangamani (over 70), and Venugopala Rao (over 60). He recalled that Sudhadevi's writings and words matched her name, filled with nectar (sudha).

Presiding over the event, Voleti Parvateesam expressed his desire that the commemorative program being organized annually by Vamsi Ramaraju and his family in memory of Sudhadevi should continue every year. Vamsi Ramaraju stated that they are presenting a cash prize of 25,000 rupees, a citation, and a memento as part of the award.

Award recipient D. Kameswari said that praying and worshiping God daily yields no result unless one helps those in need, which is the true charitable act. She donated the 25,000 rupees cash prize awarded to her to Dr. Ramana, who manages an old age home.

Telugu Academy Chairman Professor Kurapati Venkata Narayana, director Relangi Narasimha Rao, KIMS founder Bollineni Krishnaiah, and others participated on the stage. Initially, Sudhadevi's story 'Aravinda' was dramatized and performed under the direction of Srija Sadineni. A classical music concert by Tarangini Ramaraju and the traditional Simhanandini temple dance by Anagha Datta captivated the audience.
